This past weekend I tagged along with the girls and their dad when they went into the city. We went skating on the canal. Well the kids skated, I walked. We went about 8 km in total and boy was I ever wiped when we were finished. We had hot chocolate and Beavertails, and Emily had maple syrup on snow. It was a lot of fun. After the canal we went to Red Lobster and then to see the movie Journey 2: Mysterious Island in Imax 3D. Fantastic movie! I had a wonderful day out of the house. One that made me question why it is I never go out of the house more often. Have some thinking to do on that.
